Your First Visit at Fischer Chiropractic Center
Your first visit involves a thorough consultation where we determine what the problem is and whether we can help. During your first visit, you can expect your doctor to:
- Discuss your medical history
- Preform a comprehensive chiropractic and orthopedic exam
- X-ray your area of complaint (dependent on exam findings)
- Perform a computerized range-of-motion evaluation
Follow-up Care
When you return for your second visit your doctor will review an extensive report of findings with you. We will discuss what we’ve found and how we can help and answer any questions you have about your individualized treatment plan. To meet all of your healthcare needs, we work with many specialists and may partner with them to offer whole health care and pain relief without the use of drugs or surgery. You can also expect the following during this visit:
- A chiropractic adjustment
- A take-home package
- A “Do’s and Don’ts” list
- Financial information about the cost of care
Every room in our practice contains a “Do’s and Don’ts” poster. This provides patients with the opportunity to stay healthy at home, by teaching good body mechanics and exercises.
Track Your Progress
We are committed to offering the very best care to you, and understand that it’s important for you to see for yourself the benefits that chiropractic care can offer. Initially, we see new patients frequently. After this initial period of care, we always advise our patients to follow their care plan. Periodically we will perform a follow-up range-of-motion evaluation to see how much patients have progressed and to provide them with tangible results.
